RenalPlus does things differently. RenalPlus can be purchased outright or can be provided as part of a Renal Managed Service Agreement. This means that you don't need to buy servers, software licenses, client access licenses and of course you don't need to manage all these either. This can save you up to £30,000 depending on the size of your unit.
Our servers are built for high performance with fault tolerant techniques. We also apply this fault tolerance to disk subsystems, network cards, power supplies, UPS and network switches.
We take security very seriously; physical security has four levels of access control. Each hospital has its own dedicated ring fenced database, we provide access control to the system while you control who has access to which parts of RenalPlus.
RenalPlus is run on our servers within the NHS and delivered to your desktop via the NHSnet. The only thing your IT department has to do is enter the IP Address, your username and password. RenalPlus has employed the very latest technology to make sure the system is fast; most people find it faster than their internal systems.
We make this easy for you. Our fields are already populated with typical options; you can add, delete or change any according to your requirements. We work with you to tailor options you do not require. This whole process can be completed in less than a day.
We provide initial training and give you a test database with real data on which to train within a few days of choosing RenalPlus.
We take care of the importing of any existing data into RenalPlus for you. We can also help you get data out of systems.
When you are ready to go live you will be using the very latest version of RenalPlus because RenalPlus is provided as a Managed Service, so you are always using the latest version. With RenalPlus upgrades are delivered automatically.
Unlike most software, RenalPlus is developed entirely at the direction of its users. When you subscribe to the service, you automatically gain membership to the RenalPlus User Group and are able to decide on which enhancements are made. You may also request bespoke developments in the event that you feel that RenalPlus does not contain specific functionality.
Every hospital that subscribes to RenalPlus can benefit and choose from the developments of all other Hospitals.
RenalPlus is developed to the highest standards; each new version goes through a thorough testing process. The last stage prior to release is called User Acceptance Testing; during this stage you are able to test new features to your satisfaction. The new version is only released after you have signed it off.
